Located in close proximity to ancient forests and floodplains, the hospital is conceived as a protective yet permeable architectural “nest” — an enveloping structure that shelters its users while remaining deeply connected to the surrounding natural landscape. The building’s form and materiality suggest care, continuity, and safety, establishing a calm presence that mediates between the clinical requirements of a contemporary hospital and the restorative qualities of its environment.
The interior design unfolds as a sequence of layered experiences, gradually transitioning from the exterior landscape toward spaces of nestling, intimacy and care.
