This temporary COVID-19 modular hospital extension rethinks the conventional container-based healthcare facility through design-driven innovation. A lightweight steel mesh envelope and gently inclined roofs conceal the typical modular volumes and exposed HVAC equipment, transforming a purely functional structure into a coherent architectural presence.
The project stands as a case study showing how thoughtful design strategies can elevate modular healthcare facilities, achieving architectural quality within a controlled and efficient budget.
